COVID 19 Information

Camden County Schools (CCS) does NOT have a confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in our schools but we are remaining proactive by maintaining close contact with local and state agencies regarding the emergence of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the U.S.

As we are already in influenza or “flu” season, custodial staff in all school buildings are being asked to take extended measures with sanitizing high-touch areas like doorknobs and desktops, in addition to daily, routine cleaning and sanitizing measures already in place.

Just as we do throughout normal cold and flu season, Camden County Schools Student Health Department is working closely with the Georgia Department of Public Health to remain proactive about the COVID-19 coronavirus and take all proper precautions to prevent the spread of infection in our schools and buildings. We will continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available.

In an effort to share important information, we have created a dedicated page on our website. Please click here to read more about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and the steps you can take to avoid infection.

Safety is a top priority for Camden County Schools. Administrators, community members, and law enforcement must partner to identify potential threats to students and schools to ensure the greatest level of safety possible.  Your assistance is needed.

Vigilance plays a significant role in keeping our students safe. Parents, students, school staff, and community members are encouraged to immediately report student safety concerns through the Camden County School “Care” hotline. The “Care” hotline is available 24 hours a day to report student incidents such as those involving weapons, drugs, self-harm, physical threats to others, and cyberbullying/bullying.

If you learn of a potentially dangerous situation immediately call 1-833-300STOP or email tipline@securly.com to report student safety concerns. Please provide the name of the school and/or student(s) involved, type of alleged activities, and when they occurred or may occur.

Situations requiring an immediate response or intervention should be directed to 911.
