Mrs. Hogue's first-grade students went on a hunt around the classroom for words during a "Write the Room" activity. Their glasses and fancy pens helped them find and write a variety of words during this fun center.
📚✨ Problem Solving in Camden County Schools: A Step-by-Step Guide! 🌟
At Camden County Schools, we believe in addressing issues promptly and effectively. Here's the process to ensure your concerns are heard and resolved:
🔹 Step 1: Teacher/Staff Member Closest to the Situation
Start by discussing the issue with the teacher or staff member who is directly involved. They are often the best equipped to provide immediate solutions or clarifications.
🔹 Step 2: School Administrator/Division Supervisor
If the problem isn't resolved, the next step is to contact the school administrator or division supervisor. They can offer additional support and resources to help address the concern.
🔹 Step 3: Central Office Administrator
Should the issue persist, reach out to a central office administrator. They have a broader perspective and can coordinate with various departments to find a resolution.
🔹 Step 4: Superintendent
For more complex issues, the Superintendent is available to provide higher-level intervention and ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed.
🔹 Step 5: Board of Education
As a last resort, you can bring the concern to the Board of Education. They oversee the entire school district and can make decisions on policy changes or other significant actions.
We are committed to creating a positive and supportive environment for our students, staff, and community. Your voice matters, and we're here to help every step of the way! 💬🤝

Today, we honor the memory of the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11th, 2001. We remember the bravery of the first responders, the resilience of the survivors, and the strength of a nation united in the face of tragedy.
Let us take a moment to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit that define us. May we continue to support one another, cherish our freedoms, and work towards a future of peace and unity.

🎒📚 Attendance Awareness Month is here! 🌟
Let's come together to highlight the importance of regular school attendance. Did you know that students who attend school consistently are more likely to achieve academic success and build strong social skills? 🏫✨
Families, teachers, and students – let's work hand in hand to ensure our children are present, engaged, and ready to learn every single day! Here are a few tips to promote good attendance:
Set a Routine: Establish a consistent sleep schedule and morning routine.
Create a Positive Environment: Encourage a love for learning at home.
Communicate: Keep an open line of communication between parents and teachers.
Support: Offer help when students face challenges that may hinder attendance.
Together, we can make a difference! Let's celebrate #AttendanceAwarenessMonth by committing to being present and making every school day count. 🌟📖

Today we had our PBIS Kickoff Pep Rally. PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports which is a program that recognizes positive contributions of students.
Students learned about the school wide expectations which are Be Safe, Be Responsible and Be Respectful. When a student is observed meeting and exceeding these expectations, they may receive a Bulldog Buck which they can spend on rewards in their classroom or at the PBIS store.
Together, we can create a fun and supportive environment where everyone can thrive! Proud to be MLG!
Our 2nd graders have been learning about how they can be a good citizen and make a difference to others. They learned all about different ways to be a good citizen and why it’s important.
Our students created certificates to present to someone in their life that they felt was a good citizen and made a difference to them.
Keep up the great work!
