Our 4th grade teachers are holding a reading raffle each month! When students take an AR quiz their name gets entered into the drawing. This month there were over 18 winners! Keep up the great work!!

For each $25 ticket sold (regularly $50), $15 is retained by Mamie Lou Gross Elementary! Book Fair will be open starting tomorrow for students to purchase items during school hours. Book Fair Family night will happen as planned this Thursday. We will make a separate post with additional details tomorrow. ***Running Club (grades 3-5) will NOT meet tomorrow 10/1 and the session will be made up next Tuesday 10/8. The regular schedule will resume as planned on 10/15. We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow!

Our Scholastic Book Fair begins tomorrow at Mamie Lou Gross. Students will have the opportunity to shop during the school day all week, and families will have the opportunity to shop at our family night being held on Thursday, October 3.

The deadline to sign up for running club is Monday, 9/30. Please send in all forms and dues by Monday, 9/30.

School Closures in Response to Hurricane Helene Due to the potential for high winds, heavy rainfall and flooding associated with Hurricane Helene over the next two days, and with guidance from the National Weather Service and Camden Emergency Management Agency, Camden County Schools will close all schools Thursday, September 26, 2024, and Friday, September 27, 2024, for all staff and students. The safety of our students, employees, and their families will always be our first priority. In any emergency, it is critical for parents and students to rely on accurate, timely information directly from the school system or local and state officials. All official announcements regarding schools will be made on the Camden County Schools website, Facebook and Instagram pages, through the Camden County Schools app, on local radio stations – KBAY 106.3 and WECC 89.3, and on the Tribune and Georgian website.
